Established in Chicago in 1857, the Kimball Piano Company built quality American pianos, and at one time, owned the Bosendorfer Piano Company. This model, dubbed the “La Petite,” has the distinction of being the smallest grand piano ever mass-produced in the world.
At only 4’5″, the La Petite can fit in nearly any home, and depending on the room configuration, sometimes fits better than an upright piano.
What’s more, having a horizontally-oriented grand piano gives you a more realistic piano action than an upright in an equivalent size, for more control and dynamics when playing or practicing.
All of our used pianos are rigorously inspected before going on the floor, and are backed by our unparalleled used piano warranty.
